Qualified, experienced staff

One of the highlights of Sports Camps UK is the quality of the sports leaders who are carefully selected for their ability to enthuse children and young people. The sports leaders really are the people who make the camps so special!

All sports leaders at Sports Camps UK have nationally recognised coaching qualifications and have undergone a criminal background check. Sports Camps staff attend regular training to ensure they have the opportunity to develop themselves and provide even more exciting and challenging sports sessions.

We work closely with the Sport and Active Leisure Team, City of York Council, Universities and Colleges and a number of School Sports Partnerships to ensure that we recruit, train and retain the best possible young leaders in the local area.

Training workshops are provided free of charge once every half term which all our staff attend to keep them up to date with current issues and develop their ability to lead and enthuse.
